We wanted it to be minimal and elegant, but also recognizable and unique, thanks to its ergonomic design and the asymmetric hand-carved sound hole. A distinctive sign that inspired us and that we hope could be inspiring musicians in search of an electro-acoustic instrument capable of infinite nuances.
Construction :
The body is made of mahogany, carved and closed by a top that has been chosen exactly has one should do for an acoustic instrument, i.e. evaluating its harmonic character and qualities. The hand-carved sound hole is on the shoulder, so to give space to the magnetic pickup, only 7 mm thick, fixed on the top.
The neck, in kaya mahogany just like the body, is bolt on to the body with the very same system that characterize our instruments and that allows a perfect transmission of vibrations, beside giving an easy access to all the 24 frets.
Some unique details – as the bridge that accommodate the control of pickups balance, the lotus flower inspired design of sound hole and the cover of magnetic pickup made in wood – give to the Jacaranda Lotus an extra touch.

Designed in collaboration with the italian jazz bass player Tonino De Sensi, our semiacoustic bass has seduced our customers not only for his modern and stylish look and shape.
Versatility is the keyword for this bass, able to capture and reproduce all the subtle nuances that a musician can transfer to his instrument.
Construction
Built as a 4, 5 or 6 string fretless bass, the Proxima De Sensi offers a korina or mahogany body, with tonal chambers, a luxurios ziricote top, maple neck and ebony fretboard. It offers a piezoelectric passive pickup in the bridge and a magnetic Jacaranda pickup: the sounds caputured by those two pickups can be blended to obtain different sounds, from an acoustic almost-double-bass sound to a magnetic full and rich sound.
To keep the highly figured top clean, volume and tone controls are housed on the shoulder of the instrument, while the blend control is directly on the bridge.
