Front panel controls:
INPUT used for plugging a guitar or other instrument to the amplifier
VOLUME 1 sets the gain of the preamp 1, that is tuned for a progression of shimmering sounds to old school distortion with various degrees in between.
VOLUME 2 sets the gain of preamp 2, that is tuned for more modern sounds of higher gain
BASS works as bass control
MIDDLE works as normal midrange control
TREBLE controls treble
PRESENCE controls the treble response of power amp - works by removing feedback at high frequencies, but has been tuned as described above to work in conjunction with TREBLE control to shift the treble peak
MASTER 1 controls output level when channel 1 is selected - works by attenuating level at power-amp input.
CHANNEL SWITCH works when foot switch is not connected
MASTER 2 controls output level when channel 1 is selected - works by attenuating level at power-amp input.
Master Volume controls are placed before the series loop and so dubbles as send contro.
Level here has been set so that standard 9V operated effects can be used here
